Every position that you apply for will be slightly different in some way. It’s therefore important that you tailor your resume by adjusting your key responsibilities and experience to match the job that you are applying for. Having multiple resumes on hand within your iDlogik account makes the job of tailoring your resume much more convenient. You are then able to simply select the most suitable version as the basis of your tailored resume, saving yourself valuable time and effort.

Yes you can delete your resume. Keep in mind that deleting a resume means that you will not be able to recover information that has been added to that resume except for verified items. Any verified items will be moved into the ‘Validated Items’ section of your account. A validated item can only be deleted from your account upon specific request from you. Deleting a validated item means that should you require an iDlogik eVerification in the future, you will have to pay for the verification again.

No. iDlogik’s interactive online resume has been designed by HR and recruiting professionals and can only be created using our online resume builder located within your MyiDlogik account. Registering with iDlogik is completely free and getting started on an online resume takes only a few minutes yet can deliver a life-time of value.

Can I control who has access to my resume?
At iDlogik we take security and privacy very seriously. That’s why we’ve implemented security methods and a range of privacy settings that allows you to control who has access, and who does not have access, to your resume. Should you wish to restrict access to your resume then we recommend changing your privacy setting to Private or Key Protected. Please take some time to get to know privacy options available.

I have forgotten my password. How do I reset a new one?
Simply click on the ‘forgot your login details?’ link in the top right hand corner and you will be asked to re-enter either your username or email address. A temporary password will then be sent to your nominated email address. If you still are having troubles, email theteam@idlogik.com and we’ll have you back into your account as soon as possible.

You can easily edit your profile and contact details within your MyiDlogik account. Once you have logged-in click on the ‘my profile’ tab from the green MyiDlogik menu bar located in the top left corner of your iDlogik account.

iDlogik takes internet security and personal privacy very seriously. In order to maintain the integrity of our website and to protect users against identity theft you cannot change your first or last name from within your account. If you would like to request a name change, please email theteam@idlogik.com.

You may but keep in mind that any information you have already entered will be lost and irretrievable. If you have privacy concerns we recommend hiding your contact details on your resume or setting your resume privacy setting to Private. If you would still like to cancel your iDlogik account please email us at theteam@idlogik.com notifying your request. We encourage users to provide us with feedback on our online career tools so that we can improve our services for future users.

Do I need to complete every section of the resume builder?
No. The iDlogik resume builder allows you to enter information into your resume as you please and in no particular order. The resume builder has been designed to allow you to choose the sections that should be included in your resume and the order. iDlogik recommends that you only include employment history of positions that are relevant to the job that you are applying for. Employers generally want to see how your experience and skills directly relates to the position they are hiring for. It is therefore crucial that you include only positions that add-value to your application. For more resume advice check out our tips and hints section.
Back to topI’ve made a mistake on my resume, how can I fix it?
You can edit mistakes on your resume at any time from within your MyiDlogik account by selecting the resume you need to update from your My eResumes section. Once the page loads, simply click on the resume item that needs fixing up and edit any typos or errors. You can edit your resume items as often as you like. This is particularly useful when tailoring a resume for a particular job role. For more information on tailoring your resume check out our tips and hints section.
Back to topCan I remove sections from my resume that I no longer wish to include?
Yes, the iDlogik resume layout allows you to add or remove sections to your resume as you please. From your MyiDlogik account select the resume that you wish to edit. Once the page loads, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on ‘Edit Resume Sections’ button. From the ‘Resume Layout’ page you can then add and remove sections to your resume as well as adjust the order of your resume sections.
Back to topI’m having trouble uploading a scanned document to my eLibrary… what should I do?
You may only upload certain files to your eLibrary and the file size limit is 2MB. Please double-check that the file you are trying to upload is a doc, txt, pdf, gif, jpg or png and that it is less than 2MB. If you continue to have difficulties please contact our support team at support@idlogik.com.

Yes, our JobLink function allows you to apply for jobs from the convenience of your online account. The process pre-formats your application email, attaches PDF’s of your current eResume and pre-formatted cover letter, and embeds a direct WebLink to your live eResume. Although not required, it is normal practice for a cover letter to accompany a job application unless requested otherwise by the employer. It is important to read the job advertisement carefully as certain employers will ask that specific requirements be met in the cover letter. Yes. You always retain control of your resume, even when it is networked to an employers account. You can simply remove your networked resume by selecting this option from within the My eResumes section of your MyiDlogik account. Please note that by removing your eResume from a network you will lose the benefits from this employer and not receive updates about future job opportunities.

Each time you enter a new resume item or update an item you can select to have that item verified by iDlogik by selecting ‘yes’ to the ‘Would you like this item verified?’ question. Please note you will be required to complete your Shopping Cart located under the MyiDlogik menu bar to confirm your verification request.

A verified eResume could mean the difference between landing the dream job and just missing out. Eliminate employer misunderstandings or misinterpretation by verifying details that you believe are important for the positions that you are applying for. We recommend verifying your most recent job role, major qualifications/certificates and your highest educational achievement.

iDlogik independently sources information, in line with all privacy laws, to confirm the validity of your resume. We undertake a professional approach and conduct in-depth research to confirm information on your resume. Once we have verified your details you are given a star rating from 1 to 5 stars depending on our independent verification process. For more information please review the eVerification section.

iDlogik’s verification process is strictly based on independent information. Certified copies of documents will only be accepted if our independent verification process finds discrepancies or inaccurate information to what you have provided. Please note the use of certified copies of documents for verification will limit you to a 1 star rating. For more information please review the eVerification tables.

Each verification is different and obtaining an accurate verification rating will depend on many factors that are out of iDlogik’s control, such as the response time from the 3rd parties that we are contacting to verify the information. We aim to gain as much information as possible to ensure that you receive the highest possible rating and unfortunately this process can take time.

Of course. iDlogik’s independent verification system will attempt to verify all your requests no matter where they are from. However, the response time in an overseas verification may vary from that of a local verification.
How much does eVerification cost?

No you do not need to register with PayPal to pay for iDlogik verification. To confirm your payment with iDlogik you will be re-directed to PayPal where you will be required to enter your credit card details. However, we recommend registering with PayPal to provide extra protection for your credit cards and streamlining the online payment process. Please visit PayPal for further information.

iDlogik offers a 24hr window to request a refund on any of your verifications. If you have requested verification on an item within your resume and wish to cancel your request please email the iDlogik Team at theteam@idlogik.com.
