Your personal information is precious! iDlogik allows you to maintain ownership and control of this vital asset at all times. A range of settings within your account allow you choose a level of privacy for each of your eResumes, that best suits your individual job search and career goals.

How is each eResume protected?

Each of your eResumes (you can have up to five within your account) is identified and located by its unique ResiD and WebLink, and depending on its privacy setting, is further protected by a discreet ResKey (PIN number).

WebLink

Your eResume's WebLink is generated automatically, and includes in part, your username and eResume name. Your eResume WebLink is an easy to remember and convenient way of promoting yourself to potential employers (you can for example print it on your business card or add it to your Facebook page).

ResiD

This is an automatically generated fourteen-digit alphanumeric code that acts as a unique identifier, allowing registered employers to locate your eResume if you choose to Broadcast it on the ResumeBoard.

ResKey

This is the four-digit PIN number that controls access to a Key Protected eResume. A ResKey would in most cases only be passed on by you when sending your Key Protected eResume within a job application. If you no longer wish an individual who has your ResKey to access your eResume, you can simply change the ResKey at any time from within your account.

Choosing your privacy level:

During your eResume build you will be prompted to select from the following privacy levels (you can adjust these settings at any time from within your account).

Broadcast... let jobs find you.

This setting allows your eResume to appear in searches of the iDlogik ResumeBoard by registered employers. Your eResume will also be viewable within any network(s) you choose to join, as well as by individuals to whom you provide your eResume WebLink and ResKey.

This setting is recommended if you would like to receive job offers via the ResumeBoard and/or through your networks, as well as use your eResume to apply for jobs in the normal way.

Networked... zero in on your ideal employer and/or industry group.

This setting allows your eResume to be viewable within any network(s) you choose to join, as well as by individuals to whom you provide your eResume WebLink and ResKey. Your eResume will not appear in searches of the iDlogik ResumeBoard by registered employers.

This setting is recommended if you would like to receive job offers from those employers that you have networked your eResume to, as well as use your eResume to apply for jobs in the normal way.

Key Protected... email your eResume securely.

This privacy setting restricts viewing of your eResume only to individuals to whom you provide your eResume WebLink and ResKey. Your eResume will not be visible on the ResumeBoard or within any network(s) you choose to join.

This setting removes any opportunity of receiving job offers via the ResumeBoard or via your networks and is recommended only if you wish want to restrict use of your eResume to direct job applications.

Private... lock your eResume.

This privacy setting locks off your eResume, making it viewable only from within your MyiDlogik account, which remains protected by your private log-on details. Your eResume will not be viewable via its WebLink, on the ResumeBoard or within any of your network(s). If you wish an individual to view your 'Private' eResume, you will need to forward them a PDF or printed copy. They will remain unable to access your live eResume via its WebLink, within the ResumeBoard, or within any of your networks.

This setting provides maximum privacy, however it removes any opportunity of receiving job offers via the ResumeBoard or via your networks. It is recommended for any non-current or incomplete eResumes.

* To protect your privacy, only bona fide employers and recruiting professionals who are registered with iDlogik, and agree to strict privacy protection rules, may access the ResumeBoard.

Anonymous

You can choose to hide your contact details on your eResume. This allows you to promote your eResume on the ResumeBoard, and within your networks without displaying your personal details, and is particularly useful in situations where you would not like individuals (for example your current employer) to identify you. Registered employers who access your anonymous eResume via its WebLink, on the ResumeBoard or within any of your network(s) may only contact you via email through iDlogik.

This setting is ideal if you are interested in receiving job offers but would like to remain anonymous and contactable only via iDlogik.
