Questions and Answers
Q1. What is your title and how long did you work or have you worked with the candidate?
A. Museum curator. I have worked with and known Indiana Jones for my whole life.
Q2. What position did the candidate hold?
A. Expedition leader.
Q3. What were the key duties and responsibilities of this position?
A. To organise and conduct expeditions around the world in search of rare ancient relics and artifacts for my museums.
Q4. How effective was the individual in completing the above tasks?
A. Very effective. Indiana was always very professional in his research and organisation of expeditions. His preparation and commitment resulted in many successful expeditions in which he retrieved such artifacts as the Ark of the Covenant, the Cross of Coronado, and even the Holy Grail.
Q5. In your opinion, what were the individual's strengths and weaknesses?
A. His strengths are his passion and commitment to archaeology. He is professional in the classroom and adventurous in his pursuit for ancient artifacts. He is also immortal after drinking from the Holy Grail. His weakness lies in his ability to get stuck in dangerous and life threatening situations although he also has inner strength that allows him to read these situations and escape. Believe it or not, a weakness is that he has an extreme phobia of snakes.
Q6. How well did the candidate interact with the management and fellow colleagues?
A. He is a true leader. He is well respected by his peers and also by his students. Indiana is an inspiration for all who worked with him and beside him.
Q7. Is the individual a team player?
A. Yes Indiana is a team player although the majority of his work required him to work independently and without supervision. It was during these times that he delivered his best work especially in dangerous or life-threatening situations.
Q8. How would you describe his/her communication skills both oral and written?
A. Excellent. Through his studies and many years of lecturing Indiana has developed and mastered his written and oral communication skills. Indiana also has the ability to speak and write in 27 different languages from ancient Latin to Arabic to Italian, French, Spanish and of course English.
Q9. How would you describe the candidates professionalism?
A. Indiana?s professionalism has been proven throughout his many years of lecturing archaeology at various prestigious universities and colleges throughout the world. He is a strong believer in undertaking sound research but has been known to try and take short cuts.
Q10. How would you assess the individual's technical skills?
A. Indiana has the ability to use a bullwhip better than anyone I know. He is also an accurate shooter with the pistol and has an unbelievable record at escaping from dangerous and hostile environments.
Q11. How would you describe the candidates leadership, managerial or supervisory skills?
A. Unconventional but very effective. Although he may not use the most common or responsible techniques when dealing with his subordinates, Indiana is very effective in maintaining morale and keeping a positive attitude no matter what the difficulties he and his team may face.
Q12. How did the candidate handle a crisis, pressure or stress?
A. Although I rarely accompanied Indiana on his missions I was informed that on numerous occasions he dealt with any crisis adequately. However, he has a phobia for snakes and his judgment has been known to stray when snakes are around.
Q13. Can you please describe the candidate's overall performance?
A. Second to none. A committed adventurer and passionate lecturer with a heart of gold.
Q14. Would you re-hire this individual in a similar position? Why or why not?
A. Yes. I would be very proud and honoured to work alongside Indiana Jones again.
Q15. Do you have any additional comments that you would like to make?
A. I would have no hesitation in recommending Indiana Jones for any field expeditions that you are planning. He has an extensive knowledge of archaeology that has been developed through years of practical expeditions as well as through many years researching and lecturing to students.
